This is Level 1 of The Integrated Compassionate Approach. Are you a professional ready to go from not knowing, feeling unsure and struggling to help your clients to UNDERSTANDING and KNOWING how to recognize, diagnose and treat Eating Disorders? This training is for YOU! This is a hybrid event that will be held in-person in Pocatello and virtually from anywhere in the world. After this workshop, professionals will be able to: 1. Understand the prevalence of eating disorders. 2. Understand diet culture & the harm it causes. 3. Identify symptoms to diagnose Eating Disorders effectively. 4. Know therapeutic recommendations for client. 5. Address biases & begin to understand the relationship to food & diet culture. 6. Decrease harmful language & interactions. 7. Use & teach inclusive and evidence based language. 8. Use therapeutic tools & interventions to appropriately address eating disorders & body image. 9. Understand Intuitive Eating, HAES, & Anti-Diet Principles. 10. Understand the importance of working in a team model. 11. Understand Family Therapy interventions. 12. Utilize therapeutic tools & modalities for clients with all types of eating disorders.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refund Policy Cancellations 30+ days before the event receive a full refund, minus credit card fees. Cancellations 14–29 days prior receive a 50% refund, minus fees. No refunds within 14 days; however, registration may be transferred to the self-study version, if available. Substitutions are allowed at any time with written notice. If The Eating Disorder Consultants cancels the event, all registration fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other associated costs. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable, as they are retained by the payment processor.
