Ready to level up your ED expertise? This advanced training is for professionals with a solid foundation in eating disorder care. New to this work? Start with Level 1: Eating Disorders Made Simple to build your clinical base. This is a hybrid event that will be held in-person in Lehi, Utah and virtually from anywhere in the world. After this workshop, professionals will be able to: 1. Conduct a clinical interview & assessment with an eating disorder client. 2. Describe common co-occurring conditions & the impact on treatment. 3. Understand the ethical considerations & challenges inherent in providing trauma-informed care. 4. Understand how malnutrition & trauma affect the physiological aspect of the brains & bodies of people with eating disorders. 5. Have a better understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities & the application, highlighting the core principles & techniques of each approach. 6. Understand how the specific approaches, such as IFS, EFFT, & ACT can address both individual emotional needs & family dynamics to support lasting recovery. 7. Examine the application of CBT, RO-DBT, & DBT in addressing specific symptom presentations, emotional dysregulation, & interpersonal challenges. 9. Learn to identify & address specific eating disorder behaviors, including restriction, purging, bingeing, etc. 10. Understand the triggers, patterns, and treatment approaches for unique behaviors such as selective eating, orthorexia, & diabulimia. 11. Understand & develop a framework for case conceptualization. 12. Develop proficiency in using case conceptualization & specific interventions tailored to address the eating disorder & co-occurring challenges.

Cancellation & Refund Policy Cancellations 30+ days before the event receive a full refund, minus credit card fees. Cancellations 14–29 days prior receive a 50% refund, minus fees. No refunds within 14 days; however, registration may be transferred to the self-study version, if available. Substitutions are allowed at any time with written notice. If The Eating Disorder Consultants cancels the event, all registration fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other associated costs. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable, as they are retained by the payment processor.
